Employment rights: Self-employed vs. worker status - BBC Points West speaks to Burroughs Day

September 05, 2017

Burroughs Day Employment Solicitor Matthew Pope was interviewed by Seb Choudhury on BBC Points West to discuss the legal implications of being classed as 'self-employed' rather than a 'worker'.

Matthew was asked about employee rights in response to a recent feature by the BBC, which followed a group of drivers delivering parcels for a courier company working for Amazon, who claim they are owed thousands of pounds.
